TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE


Monarch Center services are provided via two major strands of technical assistance:

  • Program Development and Enhancement
    The Monarch Center assists MIHE faculty in program enhancement through professional development seminars, mentoring, and provision of informational resources and facilitation of cross-program discussions.


  • Grant Proposal Development
    The Monarch Center aims to increase the number of personnel preparation grant submissions designed to recruit,retain and prepare greater numbers of special education students from historically underrepresented groups at Minority Institutions of Higher Education (MIHEs).
